Over the last decade or so, it’s become much easier for Nintendo fans to find cool and interesting merchandise. That said, it’s rare to find items that look cool while also helping worthwhile causes. A newly announced, Mario Kart-inspired design from Fanteestic, however, accomplishes both of these things!
The shirt’s logo combines the Shell Gasoline logo with an iconic Koopa Shell from Mario Kart, giving it a fairly unique design! Since this is a parody, it is not an officially-licensed shirt. While Nintendo won’t see any proceeds from the sale, a portion will benefit the Upstate NY chapter of the ALS Association. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis has received a lot more mainstream attention over the last few years following the “ice bucket challenge,” but this time you can support the cause without getting wet!
