Are you a fan of Rune Factory? If the answer is “yes,” there might just be a new game coming up that will interest you. Series creator Yoshifumi Hashimoto’s next project is Elrentaros Wanderings, which boasts a mix of life-sim and action RPG gameplay. You can get a sample of what the game looks like in this trailer:

Welcome to Elrentaros, a hinterland town far from the Melvanian capital.
Visiting on a journey, you mingle with the colorful locals
and embark on a quest to find ways to help them.
But your adventure takes a sudden turn when a strange light surrounds you and you wake in a different realm.

Unravel the secret of the two worlds!
Players will get to choose between a male or female antogonist and forge numerous connections with the people of Elrentaros. Expect to take on quests, tackle dungeons, get new gear, and more. The game launches digitally on August 16, 2024, but if you can hold out until October you’ll be able to get your hands on the physical editions of Elrentaros Wanderings.
The standard physical edition actually comes with a couple of goodies: a logo keychain and a sticker sheet featuring characters from the game. It has an MSRP of $49.99.
