The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening just might be one of the most anticipated titles for Switch owners this year. A remake of the Game Boy classic, Link’s Awakening will offer a gorgeous update on the original, and the game’s new visuals were on full display during today’s E3 Direct. Check out the trailer below!
Interestingly enough, Link’s Awakening will offer the option to custom build dungeons! While it’s not the “Zelda Maker” some fans have been clamoring for since the release of Super Mario Maker, it’s certainly an addition with quite a bit of potential. That’s not all! After the show, a handful of new details were revealed during Nintendo Treehouse Live. In addition to the normal version of the game, fans will have a pair of extras they can pick-up alongside the game. An Amiibo will be available based on Link’s new appearance, as well as a “Dreamer Edition” of the game. The Dreamer Edition is accompanied by a hardcover art book.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will arrive September 20.
