Throughout much of the world, Tales of Vesperia is known as one of the strangest Xbox 360 JRPG exclusives; a relic of a time when Microsoft still had a glimmer of hope it could upset its Japanese competitors on their home turf. Obviously those efforts didn’t quite work as planned, but Vesperia remained a 360 exclusive in every market aside from Japan where it received a PS3 port that included additional content.

Thanks to an announcement at E3, ironically enough at Microsoft’s press conference, Namco Bandai have revealed Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will be released sometime later this year for every platform, including Nintendo Switch. This version will include the complete game, including the content from the PS3 version as well as both English and Japanese voice tracks.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will launch this winter.
