This afternoon, the folks at Limited Run Games held their very first E3 presentation. The showing was a bit on the campy side, but the company revealed a number of major physical releases of previously digital only titles which should make Switch owners quite happy!
Most of the titles announced today by Limited Run Games have been available on eShop for at least a few months now, but the titles are mostly strong choices. Golf Story, Yooka-Laylee, Layers of Fear: Legacy and Thumper will all be available for preorder from the company in the near future. Oceanhorn, also announced today, is available for preorder right now, however! Those on the fence can check out our review for the title here.
Since it wouldn’t be an E3 presentation without new game announcements, Limited Run Games also unveiled a pair that have yet to appear in any form on Switch! Dust: An Elysian Tale and Cosmic Star Heroine will both release digitally first and then as physical releases from the company.
Limited Run Games is a very small publisher, so it’s very exciting to see bigger Switch releases coming from the team. It will also likely mean some nice Collector’s Editions for bigger games like Yooka-Laylee and Cave Story, as well! The company has offered some great options for Saturday Morning RPG and Slime-San, so hopefully that will continue for some of today’s announcements. Do you plan on picking up any of these releases?
