Nintendo has revealed the latest entry in the Fire Emblem series, Fire Emblem Three Houses.
Announced during the E3 Nintendo Direct, the title features revamped graphics which make the most of Switch’s increased processing power over Nintendo 3DS.
As you can see in the first official trailer below, the perspective changes to a fully rendered third person perspective in battles. The game also seems to include more activities outside of battles (see the 1:06 mark of the trailer for this).
Not many details were given on new gameplay features or storyline (it sounds like the “crests” will feature in some way) but the visual style alone is a clear improvement over the 3DS games.
Fire Emblem Three Houses will arrive on Switch in Spring 2019.
