Switch is no stranger to open-world games. After launching with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, system owners were treated to a number of other genre classics, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and LA Noire. Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is another well-regarded open-world title on its way to Switch, and it’s coming in just a few short months!
Originally released in 2012 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Dragon’s Dogma received an enhanced version known as Dark Arisen a year later and was brought to modern consoles in 2017. In the game, players must protect the land of Gransys from a dragon intent on the world’s destruction. Players aren’t alone on their quest, however; customizable Pawns fight alongside the player on their quest, and can even be traded with other players online.
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will release on Switch April 23.
