While the Hero from the Dragon Quest series has been announced as the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, a definitive release date hasn’t been set. Given Nintendo’s vague “summer release” window, rumors are swirling that we could see the Hero anywhere from sometime next week to after Evo 2019, to sometime at the end of August.
However, new Dragon Quest Spirits have recently been discovered in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate servers, and it is expected that these will become available at the same time as Hero.
Despite the current ambiguity, this could be a good sign that Hero’s release is just around the corner.
