When Nintendo announced that they would open fan polling for the next playable characters in Super Smash Bros., many eager Dragon Ball fans voted for Goku. The character had, after all, appeared in a number of games on Nintendo systems throughout the years. For various reasons, the character didn’t make the cut. On a more positive note, fans may find some comfort in the fact that a brand-new title based on the popular manga and anime is set to release on Nintendo 3DS!
Announced in the latest issue of V Jump, Dragon Ball: Project Fusion is an RPG that will apparently feature a fusion between Goku and Broly and perhaps between other characters, as well. Beyond that, information on the title is fairly scarce. The game is, however, expected to arrive this spring in Japan, so more information will likely arrive sooner, rather than later!
There is currently no information on a western release for Dragon Ball: Project Fusion. Stay tuned to Nintendojo for more information as it develops!
