Given Nintendo’s less-than aggressive approach to mobile gaming, it’s quite astounding how well the company continues to do in that sector of the industry. According to website SensorTower, Nintendo’s Dragalia Lost mobile title has just hit $100 million in gross revenue. This is with the game only currently being available in eleven markets across the globe and with three million total downloads!
It’s quite a feat, and one that sets the game just ahead of Nintendo’s now-third highest grossing mobile title, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Pocket Camp currently rests firmly at $99 million in revenue, so it’s no slouch, either. Still, for Dragalia Lost to be doing so well in a much more limited capacity is quite impressive. If all of this has anyone curious as to which title is number one, that honor goes to Fire Emblem Heroes. Its global total? $600 million!
Needless to say, Nintendo is doing quite well on the mobile front and is looking to continue that trend. Dr. Mario World just launched this month (and is already at the number five slot of top-grossing Nintendo mobile games), while Mario Kart Tour is anticipated to drop sometime before the end of summer 2019.
