Double Dragon was once one of the most well-known franchises in all of gaming. Despite a number of spin-offs, crossovers, comic books and even a feature film, the franchise all but faded over the last few console generations. The latest title in the series, Double Dragon IV, hoped to return the franchise back to its roots, even going so far as to emulate the sprites from the NES version of the original Double Dragon.
The title debuted on PC and PlayStation 4 earlier this year. Reception was a bit mixed, but Switch fans will be able to judge for themselves when the title arrives on the eShop next week! Like the PS4 version, the title will cost $6.99. We’ve included the game’s trailer below!
Double Dragon IV will release on Switch September 7.
