In this latest installment in the series, players are aked to take advantage of something that is normally a real hindrance in video games: dying. The lead of Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is a zombie named Zed who must die and be reincarnated throughout the adventure. Give the trailer a gander:
Through Super Reincarnation, Zed is able to get stronger each time that he dies. The battle system is being pumped to the max, with players able to reach a higher level cap than ever and deal damage that would break the average calculator. While fans wait for Disgaea 6 to launch in summer of 2021, anyone with a Nintendo Switch Online account will be able to pass the time by playing Disgaea 5 Complete—for free! From September 23 to September 29, subscribers will be able to download and enjoy the game at no extra expense.
