Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge was a major surprise last year. It marked the triumphant return of the TMNT brand to the world of video games and was also a big hit. Now, Dotemu and Tribute Games have revealed that a fresh batch of DLC has been coked up for Shredder’s Revenge, dubbed Dimension Shellshock. Let’s take a look:
Headlining the Dimension Shellshock DLC is arguably the arrival of Stan Sakai’s Usagi Yojimbo (old school fans might remember him as Miyamoto Usagi). Yes, the nominal rabbit rōnin has been a longtime ally of the turtles in both comics and animation, but now will finally battle alongside them in a video game. This DLC will also bring a new mode and a bunch of fresh colorways for all of the different fighters in the game. One even mimics the look of the NES TMNT games.
It is an exciting time to be alive, indeed, but while Dimension Shellshock is set for 2023, there’s no word on exactly when. As soon as we know, dear readers, you will, too!
