For gamers who don’t have enough Breath of the Wild in their life, there will soon be a new book that will allow a deeper dive into the world of the highly acclaimed game. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild- Creating a Champion is a behind-the-scenes book including art, design documents, and developer interviews meant to give gamers a better understanding of all that went into crafting such a beloved experience. And, as with most video game related things nowadays, there are also going to be special editions.
The Hero’s Edition comes clad in Link’s signature shade of blue, an art print, a cloth map of Hyrule, and a replica Spirit Orb made from glass. All of this comes to you in a fancy box. This version will retail for $99.99 and can be preordered from Amazon.
The Gamestop exclusive version goes by a much longer name, Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Create a Calamity Artbook Champions Edition– Summer Convention Exclusive 2018. It comes with an even bigger, fancier box along with a lot more material. The covers of the book are given new art, a tapestry cover sheet, four enamel pins representing the Divine Beasts, and a total of seven art prints including one described as “premium.” All the extra goodies demand a higher price of $149.99.
Both versions, along with the standard $39.99 book, go on sale on November 30 of this year.
