Fans of Microsoft and Studio MDHR’s delightful Cuphead game have been waiting years for the game to get a physical release. The promise had been made, however, that once the game’s last batch of DLC (the brilliant The Delicious Last Course) was released the physical versions of Cuphead would follow. Studio MDHR has been true to its word and soon, on December 6, the standard edition of the game will come to retail shelves:

The standard edition of the game is anything but, boasting The Delicious Last Course DLC and the following goodies inside of the box:

  • A Club Cuphead membership card
  • Six Cuphead Funnies comics
  • Gorgeous interior art illustrated in-studio

However, such an auspicious occasion arguably deserves even more pomp and circumstance, so Studio MDHR has teamed with iam8bit to launch a Collector’s Edition of Cuphead. It will ship in Q1 of 2023:

The Collector’s Edition is exclusive to iam8bit.com and clocks in at $199.99. Here’s what your 200 bucks nets you:

  • iam8bit Exclusive Collector’s Edition
  • IT’S COMPLETE!! This is the original Cuphead game plus The Delicious Last Course DLC on a single disc/cart.
  • WOW WOW WOW!! An ~8″ Tall Handcrafted Cuphead Marionette – Fully Puppetable, Crafted by the Legendary Artisans at Rici Marionettes in Prague
  • Tunes… for Toons!? A Marvelous, Mechanical, Hand-Crank Music Box
  • Like to Laugh? Enjoy Six (6) Original “Cuphead Funnies”
  • It’s Official!! The Cuphead Club Membership Card – Individually Numbered!
  • For Map Lovers!! A Foldout Inkwell Isles Poster
  • Dress Up Your Game Case – with a Classy O-Sleeve
  • What’s That!? Sensational Interior Artwork!? Don’t mind if I Do!
  • AND OH MY!! A Premium, Transforming Outer Box featuring the Infamous Asbestos Safety Curtain, Perfect for Displaying your Cuphead Marionette

That’s a whole lot of Cuphead goodness for fans. Will you be picking either (or both) version for yourself? Tell us in the comments!
