We reported back in April that Crytek’s Crysis Remastered was slated to come to Nintendo Switch in July. Following that report, word of a delay of the game spread as allegedly-leaked footage revealed a version of the game that left many fans wanting for a better build quality. Many assumed that delay included Nintendo’s hybrid console. As it turns out, this will not be the case: Crysis Remastered will come to Switch on July 23. There’s no word on why the Switch iteration of Crysis Remastered isn’t being delayed like on other platforms. The common theory making the rounds on the Internet is that the game is likely as optimized as it’s going to get on Nintendo’s (relatively speaking) underpowered hardware, but take that with a grain of salt as nothing official has been stated at this point.
