Survival horror title Corpse Party: Blood Drive originally launched for the PS Vita back in 2014, but a new ESRB rating for the game suggests that it might be making its way to Nintendo Switch next.
Like other games in the franchise, Blood Drive follows a group of students that must escape from a haunted school. The game, which was also released on iOS and Android in 2017, started life as the visual novel Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, but more traditional gameplay elements were added with the shift to other platforms.
The new ESRB classification is a “Mature” rating, for the following reasons: “cutscenes sometimes depict various acts of violence”; “blood is frequently depicted near corpses and when characters are injured”; and “a handful of sequences depict characters whose nude bodies are partially obscured by lights, steam, and/or other body parts.”
