Capcom Offering Huge Discounts on 3DS and Wii U eShop Games

The Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShop will be officially closed on March 27, 2023. Although it will still be possible to download software updates, redownload purchased software, and play online, all new purchases will be permanently halted. As such, many publishers are slashing prices on games, including Capcom, which is hosting a major blowout sale in both marketplaces.

Until the eShops are shuttered Capcom games are $2.99 a pop. This includes such gems as the Monster Hunter series, Phoenix Wright, Resident Evil, and more besides. If you’ve been holding off any buying any of these games, some of which are only available via download, now is the time to commit to purchasing.
