Like an increasing number of Wii U games, Bayonetta 2 has become something of a collector’s item. You’ll be lucky to find a new, sealed copy of the game for less than $80, while even secondhand copies can set you back by $60 (and that’s without the Bayonetta bonus disc that was included in the initial print run). Fortunately, now that Bayonetta has found herself back in the news thanks to her forthcoming appearance in Super Smash Bros., Nintendo has announced that it will be re-releasing the sought-after title– minus the original Bayonetta— on February 19 for the budget price of $29.99.

If you missed out on Bayonetta 2 the first time around, this is the perfect opportunity to snag one of the finest games on Wii U, and a great introduction to the character before she joins the Smash roster later in February!

Yup, I got a copy of it when they put it on clearance at gamestop. Still haven’t opened it up either, have just tried the demo. So now the first game will be rare.
And be sure to watch Bayonetta: Bloody Fate on Amazon Instant Video.
