Arcade Pokkén Tournament Getting New Character

Most American gamers likely just know of Pokkén Tournament as a fighter for Wii U, but in Japan, the Pokémon-themed fighting game was also released in arcades. While the Wii U version has yet to see new characters or other DLC, the arcade roster expanded when Darkrai was added to the game.

Now, an announcement is being teased for October 13 that will reveal a new fighter to be added to the game. Of course, we will have to wait until then to know which Pokémon it will be. Hopefully we’ll also eventually learn if this Pokémon and/or Darkrai will be coming to the Wii U version.
