One of the greatest things about indie gaming is that, with smaller expenses, developers have more freedom to deliver truly unique experiences. Accidental Queens’ A Normal Lost Phone did just that, with a compelling narrative and setup that we really enjoyed when the title debuted on Switch earlier this year. Fans of the game will be happy to know that a sequel, entitled Another Lost Phone, will appear on Switch in just a few short weeks!
The title will apparently closely follow the same formula as A Normal Lost Phone, guiding players through the phone and using the various messages, apps and photographs to tell a story about the phone’s owner. It will be interesting to see how the game’s narrative differs from the original game, and whether or not Accidental Queens can still find new ways of crafting gameplay around the setup. Hopefully the experience will remain just as intriguing the second time around.
Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story will release on Switch April 26. Stay tuned to Nintendojo for a review in the near future!
