During tonight’s late night Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo finally lifted the curtain on their latest mobile title, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Though the game was technically announced quite some time ago, tonight the company provided a ton of info about the game!
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will allow players to build and customize their own camp sites. For the first time in the series, players will have a friendship meter with each animal. Creating and placing certain objects in the camp site will make certain animals happy. By acquiring crafting materials, players can task Cyrus with building up the site, in an attempt to make visiting animals happy. Players will also be able to purchase items from Timmy and Tommy Nook, as well. Just like in other Animal Crossing titles, bells can be acquired through hunting, fishing and selling items.
In addition to the campsite, players can decorate their campers internally and externally. Players can share their IDs and sell items to one another, while also visiting the camp sites of other players. The game will also feature seasonal events and an in-game clock! Rather than a watered-down experience, this looks like a very deep Animal Crossing title!
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will release in late November. Do you plan on downloading it? Let us know what you thought of tonight’s broadcast in the comments below!
