The Animal Crossing series has always made an effort to keep gamers coming back time and again. Nintendo further emphasized this point with a substantial update to the 3DS iteration of the series, New Leaf, and now the company is sprinkling on a little extra something for the holidays as well.
Players who have Animal Crossing: New Leaf activated as one of the SpotPass games on their system will find a few goodies waiting for them when they boot up the game. Your presents include 15 MEOW Coupons and festive tree for your home, among other goodies.
It’s nice to see Nintendo focus on keeping an older game going like it has with New Leaf, so it will be interesting to see if it keeps such special events going well on into the future.
