Animal Crossing Direct: Series 5 Animal Crossing amiibo Cards Drop 11.05

If you’ve been waiting for the official release date for Series 5 of the Animal Crossing amiibo cards, we’ve finally got one: November 5! The cards promise a mix of new characters as well as ones that were never previously released as part of the card series. There are 48 total characters coming.

Each pack will retail for $5.99. Every pack comes with six total cards, all of which will be compatible with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. No word from Nintendo on whether or not any effort will be made to prevent scalpers from getting a hold of these cards before consumers, but hopefully the supply will be plentiful on launch day
