In addition to being an all around great game, Pokémon Sun and Moon caught the attention of long time Pokéfans by introducing some interesting new version of classic creatures. Exeggutor was probably the most interesting, turning the goofy-looking Grass/Psychic type into what is effectively a walking palm tree that is Grass/Dragon.
The new design apparently attracted at least a few fans, because a surprisingly large and expensive statue of it is being released in Japan. The collectible Exeggutor is over three and half feet tall and goes for 29,800 yen which comes out to about $270.00.
It will be interesting to see how many people have the extra space and funds needed to accommodate this strange collectible, but one thing’s for sure: it’s a lot more interesting than a potted plant and should be much easier to take care of.
