Update: Publisher Nighthawk Interactive has provided us with an all-new trailer for Aladdin and The Lion King HD, which includes some intriguing new details! Multiple versions of both games will be available on the cartridge, including the Game Boy versions, and the tradeshow demo of Aladdin, which hasn’t been seen since 1993! As of this writing, it seems the Capcom-developed version of Aladdin will not be included, however.
The compilation arrives online and in stores October 29 and will retail for $29.99.

One of the more frustrating things about good licensed games is that we often don’t get to see them appear again on other platforms. After all, there are a number of factors involved between the original license holder, the publisher, and more. Fortunately, a pair of classic SNES adventures from Disney will get the port treatment this fall when Aladdin and The Lion King HD come to Switch!
Aladdin and The Lion King HD was announced during the GameStop Managers Conference, but details remain slim at this time. While The Lion King was published by Virgin Interactive on SNES and Genesis, the two versions of Aladdin were developed and published by Capcom on SNES and Virgin Interactive on Genesis. According to sources, the upcoming release will include both versions of each game.
