Switch owners are sticklers when it comes to game icons on the system’s Home Screen. In the year since the handheld hybrid made its debut, fans have praised and criticized developers across social media for the icons that have appeared, so much so that developers now take them under serious consideration. When Snake Pass developer Sumo Digital changed the game’s icon with an update last year, fans made their displeasure with it well known.
Thankfully, the developer listened, and the latest update for Snake Pass rights the team’s previous wrong. Fans will also be happy to know that the game’s latest update also includes another addition: Arcade Mode! In Arcade Mode, players consume as much fruit as possible to rack up high scores, which they can then submit to the game’s online leaderboards!
“We could not think of a better way of passing on our thanks to all of our fans, who have played Snake Pass over the last year”, said Seb Liese, creator of Snake Pass. “The Arcade Mode Pack, introduces a new way to play, as you compete with friends across global leaderboards to see who can be the world’s slickest slitherer!”
Haven’t tried Snake Pass yet? The title has been discounted by 50 percent until April 10. If you’re still on the fence, check out our review!
