Diligent cleaners at the German Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body, more commonly referred to as the USK, avoided a major snafu when they realized that the stash of cardboard they almost mistook as trash was actually Nintendo Labo.
The following is a tweet put out by USK, followed by the English translation:
ENDLICH können wir die Anekdote erzählen, wie die neueste Nintendo-Hardware einmal beinahe von der Reinigungskraft als Altpapier entsorgt wurde 📦📦📦 (die Geschichte hätte uns vorher eh niemand geglaubt 🙃) #NintendoLabo

FINALLY we can tell the story of how our cleaning personnel almost tossed the new Nintendo hardware into the waste paper container (no one would have believed us before the announcement anyway) #NintendoLabo
Imagine being a fly on the wall listening to that conversation between the cleaners and the game testers! If you plan on adding Nintendo Labo to your Switch library, make sure the people in your house don’t almost make the same mistake!
Do you plan on picking up Nintendo Labo? And if so, which set? Let us know in the comments.
