1Print Games made its debut back in 2019, promising a new approach to small-batch publishing that would set it apart from outfits like Limited Run Games. Although the concept is similar—small print runs of formerly digital-only games—the execution differs in that 1Print keeps a batch of its cartridges on-hand so that the turnaround time for shipping is very quick. All of this was great, right up until COVID-19 disrupted operations. 1Print is far from gone, however, as the publisher announced today that three more games are coming, with the first set for a June 11 launch.
That game is Neo Cab, “an emotional survival game about gig labor, tech disruption and the experience of being a driver-for-hire.” 3,000 copies of the Limited Edition print will be available and include the following goodies:
- A copy of the Nintendo Switch game
- Inner cover artwork
- Feelgrid Acrylic Keychain
- Neo Cab Driver’s Manual
- Neo Cab Numbered Authenticity Card
- Neo Cab Logo Sticker
The other two games, Eternal Radiance and Paradise Killer, are both anticipated to launch in Q3 of 2021. Things are looking up once more for 1Print Games and fans of physical media!
