They made a Japan-only Animal Crossing anime movie. No stalking squirrels sadly :(

Guys… I use my PSP every day & I have all the consoles/handhelds. PSP is still an awesome game system. Nothing really aggravates me more than people putting down other systems :( Also, grats on episode 100

Also, Persona is one of the best series! Wooo.

You might say that PSP has become something of the GameCube of this era: a solid system with some great choice games whose library is not as thick as the competition. I’ve been critical myself of PSP, but probably only in relationship to DS’s monstrous library of games. On its own it’s a better system than it gets credit for.

I try not to compare any system to another system. Each system has it’s merits & flaws & they are for that system only & not to be put side to side with others. So it aggravates me when people start comparing one system to another.

LOL. A couple of years ago I bought a PSP and I played it a handful of times before selling it to GS with the one game I had for it. Without comparing it to other systems, it was terrible. I get more game-time on my iPhone than I ever did in the 6 months I had a PSP and that’s saying a lot! Worst gaming investment, for me.

i wanted to like it, i really did. I got one and just didn’t appreciate the load times or the analog stick. Neo geo got it right like 10 years ago. Why cant anyone else. I heard the load times improved, but they lost out on this guy.

nobody knock on my Sega saturn. That was an outstanding system but only if you imported. Take this from a guy who adored his Atari Jaguar lol.

As far as the show, I really liked the 100th episode but have to disagree with the co-hosts concerning the psp. That portable has many great games. The only major gamesystem ever released that clearly lacked a killer app or great game for that matter was the Atari Lynx. The PSP does not have that problem.

As far as the discussion on final fantasy and why it does not drop on Nintendo systems is somewhat explained by the fact that Sony owns a minority stake in the SquareEnix company. You can also blame Yamauchi for screwing Square over by not listening to their and other japaese publisher concerns over cartridges and pricing. If memory serves me right, FFVII could not be done on cartridges and limited memory space. Wasnt FFVII over 3 GB’s while a N64 cartridge could only hold less than 500 megs

It would be nice to have a PSP so I could play Valkyria Chronicles 2. Why they chose to ignore the PS3 for the sequel makes no sense to me.

Great episode! Glad it finally came even though Aaron Roberts wasn’t on. Still funny, and the 3DS I know it has a slider, but I am talking about the 3D. And I know you wont be swerving and what not but you still hit bumps, and slight turns that move you, and it seemed like how you all talked you had to be perfectly still and in a sweet spot. Also, Andy had the funniest quote of the 100 episodes, but I CAN’T THINK OF WHAT IT IS! When I do, I will let you all know. Something in the context of staying away from a game.

Yeah, it remains to be seen if 3DS is playable with the 3D effect on while on the road. There is a tiny bit of play with where the sweet spot is, it looks a little off but still completely viewable if you’re not spot-on.

Congratulation Nintendojo for that milestone archievement: I remember when I started to listen the show (Early 2009), and critizing the format, it was the time when I am a regular to Nintendo Voice Chat, GameScoop, 1UP Yours/Listen Up, and the HotSpot. Just like the Wii and DS, Dojo Show-Go is diferent, someway revolutionary, alternatives to the traditional videogames podcast, I am tired of the rigid structure and all the stupid politics from the mainstream pages like IGN and Gamespot to produce podcasts, and normally they (I call it The Industry) hate Nintendo and try to neglect any news related, because they are successful without following the trends the Industry have established (HD, Digital Distribution, DLC, 3D, hardcore ultraviolent games, High production values), so DSG has become my primary Nintendo-centric show.

Some of my favorites moments of the show are: Tidman and Andy talking about Pokemon, with Greg complaining because he didn’t know what the hell was Pokemon; of course Andy and his hentai game quote; Greg stealing the Koji Kondo answer to Hbomb in a Popquiz; Josh surprising the hosts by expressing his frustration about the Online multiplayer of The Conduit; my music suggestion selected to form part of the production of the show (The Mute Radiology from DJ Pretzel); Evan Campbell whining because he can’t play DS on the plane because he could crash it, and hosting the show from a Cyber-Cafe in Australia with all the annoying enviromental sounds of the people walking there.

Well, that is what I remember right now, and continuing the comparison with Nintendo, this episode is like Nintendo 2010, relying on nostalgia and happy old memories for the content of the show, just the same what NSB Wii, DKC Returns, Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Epic Mickey, Kid Icarus is doing for the consoles.

    Thanks for the memories.

About 3DS I am legitimely excited, but I am very concerned about the limitations what the 3D screen will affect some of the unique interfaces the Nintendo DS brought for the gamers. I am refering to the direct in-game touch control, because obviously the developers want their games to be presented in the 3D screen, so “touch is NOT good” this time, because you aren’t really “touching”, Nintendogs + cats is the perfect example of this. My other concern would be the annihilation of the vertical orientation style games used in Brain Age/Brain Academy, Hotel Dusk, Planet Puzzle League, Meteos Disney Edition, and other games, that is, from what I understand, the stereoscopical 3D screen works by sending diferent images to the left and right eyes, and the tech only works in horizontal orientation, if you turn the 3DS to a vertical position, you would probably see a washed out or double image graphics unless you turn off the 3D effect, what means all the games will be forced to be played on a horizontal view.

    I hope I am wrong.
