Fans today might have a hard time believing that Rare was ever one of the marquee developers in Nintendo’s camp when the studio is now mostly known for Xbox avatar items and Kinect Sports. Back in its heyday, however, Rare was a creative force to be reckoned with, developing technologically advanced and innovative titles that rivaled the quality of Nintendo’s own efforts.
