Mega Man: Dual Override wasn’t content with sitting out something as auspicious as a Nintendo Direct broadcast, so it was that yesterday fans got yet another look at the hotly anticipated game. This trailer was a bit special, however, as it showed off everybody’s favorite scarf-wearing robot: Proto Man! Take a look at his Dual Override debut:
Proto Man, as is the norm, plays similarly to Mega Man, but he comes with his own suite of moves and abilities that set him apart from the Blue Bomber. Armed with his trust shield, Proto Man is going in for a more up close and personal form of fighting this time around. Charge through foes and utilize close-range combat tactics while playing as Proto Man, but keep an eye on his heat gauge so as not to fizzle out and be vulnerable to attack. It’s definitely a more intense version of fighting from the character than what fans have seen before, but it definitely suits him.
Mega Man: Dual Override launches spring 2027. Are you excited to play as Proto Man? Share with us online and in the comments!
