Although neither title had officially been announced for Nintendo Switch 2, there was a pretty reasonable expectation among fans that eventually Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 would wind up on the console. During today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast, SEGA and Atlus showed off both games on Nintendo’s hybrid console. Take a look for yourself:
Persona 6 is still a big, old question mark at this point; we know it’s on the way, but that’s about it. Here’s what we know about the game so far:
The iconic JRPG series returns with its highly anticipated next chapter. Persona 6 brings everything beloved about the series into a bold new story. The signature blend of heartfelt daily life and pulse-pounding supernatural adventure returns, wrapped around a completely fresh, standalone story and a new cast of characters. Whether you’ve been with the series since the beginning or this is your very first Persona experience, you belong here!
Persona 4 Revival, however, is a little less mysterious. This remake of the classic PlayStation 3 game is coming out May 20, 2027 and is a major overhaul of the original:
Persona 4 Revival is a remake of the critically acclaimed classic RPG from the beloved Persona franchise, now modernized in a new form. Set in the rural town of Inaba, take on the role of a teenage transfer student as he and his friends form the Investigation Team to solve a series of bizarre murders connected to the Midnight Channel.
It’s been a long time since Nintendo fans have been spoiled with so much parity in terms of third-party console releases. Are you enjoying seeing all these games come to Nintendo Switch 2? Share with us below and on social media!
