2010 National Pokémon champions crowned
First you have to catch ’em, and then you have to rule with ’em. That is exactly what Wade Stanley, of San Diego, Calif., and Wesley Morioka, of Chicago, did over the past weekend at the 2010 Pokemon National Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.
Stanley, 11, won the Junior Division championship; Morioka, 16, was the top dog of the Senior Division. Both will go on to compete in the world championships during August in Kona, Hawaii.
In addition, each winner walked away with a Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DSi, and a bunch of Pokemon prizes. Hawaii and gifts? I’m definitely jealous.

When Reggie Fils-Aime appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show a few nights ago, he said that the 3DS would launch next year. However, Nintendo is not confirming Reggie’s statement, and industry insiders have said that his statement was incorrect. It appears as though there is a chance for the 3DS to still launch this year.
