Switch has been the biggest video game success story of 2017; after the Wii U’s much discussed struggles, few industry insiders suspected Nintendo’s daring new console would catch on so quickly. No, it seems like many publishers and developers are scrambling to get to get their games on the system and Bandai Namco is no exception.

So far, the Japanese publisher has ported several games to the system, including titles from the Dragon Ball and One Piece franchises but, during a recent investor’s briefing, they made sure to mention they had more games coming to the new system. Specifically, Bandai Namco stated they will be announcing three new Switch games by the spring or summer of 2018.

Mitsuaki Taguchi, the company’s president, even went to far as to state, “It’s a shame, but we didn’t think the Switch [would] be accepted this fast.”

Unfortunately, this news was just the announcement of future announcements so nothing specific was stated about the games. However, it’s worth remembering the publisher has some major brands in its stable, including Tekken, Tales of, Soulcalibur, and Dark Souls.
