Folks who preordered the Nintendo 3DS game Zero Time Dilemma from Amazon also received a special watch— or they were supposed to, rather. The game came out in June, but the supplier of watches ran into problems which caused delays on the preorder bonus. Finally just last week, watches started shipping out.
However, many buyers received nothing at all. Some got sent bills for hundreds of dollars or damaged items. One fan got shipped an entire box full of watches. Errors in both the supplier and Amazon’s database seem to be causing all kinds of problems here.
Publisher Aksys is working towards a resolution right now for anyone who ran into issues with their Zero Time Dilemma order. This is definitely one of the stranger preorder debacles to come about.
