Nintendo Switch Online has four new games for subscribers to enjoy. This time, the quartet of games is focused on Game Boy and Game Boy Advance, and it’s a pretty solid slate of software. Let’s take a look:
Here are the four games that have been added:
- Game Boy (Nintendo Switch Online)
- Sword of Hope II
- Fortified Zone
- Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3
- Game Boy Advance (Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack)
- Dr. Mario & Puzzle League
Sword of Hope II is a dungeon crawler type that acts as a good introduction to this type of RPG for less seasoned players; Fortified Zone is a solid top-down shooter mixed with some light puzzle solving (not unlike Zelda); Dr. Mario & Puzzle League, meanwhile, features two legendary puzzle games in one with excellent visuals. The standout here, however, is Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, which turns Wario from being a final boss in Super Mario Land 2 into the main star for the first time. Wario’s charge attack, unique power-ups, and plenty of secrets to discover make this one of the top Game Boy games ever made.
Overall, this is a strong assemblage and easily worth a look for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Simply update the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance apps on your Switch or Switch 2 and get to playing.
