The already-impressive character roster which makes up Hyrule Warriors is set to receive a boost next week when the upcoming “Twilight Princess Pack” DLC hits the eShop.
On Miiverse, series producer Eiji Aonuma announced that Midna, Link’s shadowy ally in the game, will be appearing in her full-sized and powerful Twili form for players with the downloadable pack.
“Twili Midna’s weapon is the Mirror of Twilight, which appeared in Twilight Princess,” Aonuma said. “This mirror was destroyed at the end of that game, but it’s pretty amazing in Hyrule Warriors. In fact, I can’t describe in words what’s so amazing about it, so I hope you’ll download this DLC pack and see for yourself.”
In addition to Twili Midna, the pack will add weapons, costumes, and a map based on Link’s first Wii (and last GameCube) outing.
Hyrule Warriors, released last month to critical and commercial acclaim, has become one of the best selling Wii U titles, with sales outside Japan exceeding expectations of publisher Koei Tecmo.
