There are plenty of ways to kick shell for TMNT fans these days, but one of the best options of late has been Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate. The roguelike, which is set in an approximation of the IDW TMNT comic book universe, bears some similarities to Hades and is a blast to play. Ever since the game launched on Nintendo Switch (and eventually Switch 2) it’s received a number of updates and DLC, as well. Now, developer Super Evil Megacorp has taken all of that content and bundled it together in the new TMNT: Splintered Fate Gold Edition. Check it out:
Here’s everything that you get with the Gold Edition:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate Base Game
TMNT: Splintered Fate – Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam DLC: The Turtles friend and fellow vigilante Casey Jones is always ready to pick up his hockey stick and do some damage. What’s more, he happens to know a shortcut to the rooftops of NYC! Strangely, their path takes them straight through the Junkyards and Punk Frog turf.
TMNT: Splintered Fate – Metalhead Character DLC: Play as the loveable, locked and loaded Metalhead, with a unique gameplay style to complement the Turtles. Fire his blasters, transform into a spinning missile frenzy, and lob landmines to stop enemies in their tracks. Metalhead has an affinity with Robotics Powers.
TMNT: Splintered Fate – Alopex Character DLC: Meet Alopex, the mutant arctic fox and ninja assassin. Expertly swinging her sickle-like kama, she slices at her foes with ease. Hurling her kunai at close range, she deals a powerful blast of damage.
The game is available now; simply head to the eShop and give it a download. We highly recommend giving Splintered Fate a shot, as it’s easily one of the best TMNT games ever made, and it’s also a solid roguelike, as well.
