Nintendo’s foray into the mobile market might have started with Miitomo, but many have been awaiting for the developer to bring its big name franchises to phones and tablets around the world. Those gamers will be pleased to learn that wait will be over in a month when Super Mario Run releases for iOS devices on December 15.
Alongside the release date, Nintendo dropped some extra info as well. Most significant for most will be the pricing; a free trial version will let players experience a little bit of all the game’s modes, while a paying $9.99 will unlock the whole game. In addition to the main game, the other modes are Kingdom Builder and Toad Rally. To catch a glance of what these modes entail, check out the newly released trailer, below.
iPhone and iPad users will need to be running at least iOS 8.0 to play the game. Nintendo did previously confirm Super Mario Run would be coming Android devices as well, though the company hasn’t revealed when, so be sure to check back for more information in the future.
