Super Mario Bros. turns 40 this year, and what better way to celebrate than with a magnificent tome dedicated to the plumber’s rich history? This is the thinking behind Super Mario Collection 40th Anniversary, an unofficial chronicle of all things Mario. The book is going to be available soon on Kickstarter for fans to fundraise, and it’s a rather perfect day to launch the project: MAR10 Day! Which is March 10, 2025.
Super Mario Collection will be 300 pages and hardcover, and written by Oscar Brown. If this project sounds familiar, that’s because it’s a revised version of the original Super Mario Collection, also a Kickstarter project. The book is stuffed with collectibles featuring the mustachioed one from across the character’s long history. With this 40th anniversary version, expect more goodies and more pages to flip through.
