Mortal Kombat 1 just released on September 14th across multiple platforms, starring American actress Megan Fox as the new voice actress for Nitara, a Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance vampiress. Though Fox was in hit movies such as Transformers and Jennifer’s Body, her voice acting for Mortal Kombat 1 was subpar, and fans definitely noticed.
Many fans are calling Nitara’s character “boring” despite having some epic combos in-game. TikTok gaming commentator Stoney Tha Great said in a recent interview, “It literally just sounds like [Fox is] reading off the paper with no effort at all.” Her dialogue simply comes across as monotone, rather than as a fierce blood-sucking demon.
