Forgive us as we nerd out over the latest news coming from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Revealed via Instagram, a pretty major cameo appearance has been confirmed for the film. None other than Fox McCloud, leader of Team Star Fox of the (you guessed it) Star Fox series of games. He looks the spitting image of himself in the games, along with his trusty Arwing in the background. Here’s the post:

It was also shown off that Pikmin will be popping up in the film, too. Which opens the door to the obvious question of, well, who else might show up? The rest of Team Star Fox? Samus Aran? Captain Falcon? Kirby?! The possibilities are endless and tantalizing. We’ll all find out together on April 1, 2026.
