It has been reported that a Wii U bundle containing a black 32GB console and a copy of upcoming racer Mario Kart 8 may be headed for European stores. In addition to the game and console, the pack will also apparently contain a 7-day free trial of Wii Karaoke U. While no announcement has been made as to the existence of this or a similar package, it seems likely given Nintendo’s reliance on the series for cash flow that some sort of bundle would be in the works. However, there is no knowledge as to whether this pack will be Europe-only and whether other regions might receive other packages.
The bundle is alleged to cost 299 Euros, which would put it in line with the other Wii U Premium bundles. Nintendo will be hoping the release of both game and bundle can boost flagging sales, after a disappointing set of financial figures recently.
