Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Drops In December

Puyo Puyo Tetris was a fun mashup of two classic puzzle games that surprised and elated fans. Now, Sega is teaming once more with the Tetris Company to produce a sequel of the game fittingly dubbed Puyo Puyo Tetris 2. It will be launching on December 8.

All of the previous game’s modes are returning, which is a plus. In addition, fans can partake in the new Skill Battle mode, which the press release says “introduces character-based skills and item cards that can be equipped to power up the team and quickly turn the tables on opponents.” Spectating has been added to online battles, so fans can watch other players go at it and work their puzzle-battling skills.
