Developer Brian Provinciano, known as Vblank and the head of Vblank Entertainment, has made both Shakedown Hawaii and Retro City Rampage DX available for physical preorder… on Wii! Yes, as in Wii of waggling and Wii Sports fame. The beloved console already has quite the sterling library of software, but that’s not stopping Vblank from bringing these two exceptional sandbox games to the console.
Shakedown: Hawaii and Retro City Rampage for Wii are now in stock and ready to ship! $29.99 each, limited to 3,000 copies. Get them from https://t.co/eDAmcNcs4P! pic.twitter.com/GBbBBQPhGn

There’s a bit of a caveat, however—these preorders are exclusively for European Wii consoles. Sadly, Vblank missed the cutoff to get physical copies of the two games for North America. Further souring the deal for those outside the UK is that Wii is region locked, so importing won’t work. Still, if you fancy having these discs and boxes on your shelves anyway, there are 3,000 copies available to buy.
For those interested, hit up this link to learn all the details about how Vblank fought to bring both games to North America and why that fell through, as well as the process behind how these ports even got off of the ground in the first place. Note, there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel, as Shakedown Hawaii will get a North American physical run… on Wii U! Preorders for that version of the game will launch this August.
