We already know that a Nintendo-themed addition is coming to Universal Studios, but rumors are now swirling that everyone’s favorite Pocket Monsters are also looking to get in on the theme park action. It’s being alleged that a Pokémon-themed section of park is in the planning stages for Universal Studios Orlando. The rumor is coming from the folks over at WFTV 9, an ABC news affiliate.
News anchor Jamie Holmes spoke with Theme Park University blogger Josh Young about the alleged addition, citing “numerous sources” confirming the story. There’s been no official word from Nintendo or Game Freak and The Pokémon Company, but considering the Nintendo-themed addition to Universal Studios is a real thing, there’s a definite chance that this could become a reality.
