More delays! Nintendo announced at this year’s E3 that the Pokémon Go Plus accessory was slated for release at the end of July. Today, however, the announcement was made that it will be pushed back to September.
The Pokémon Go Plus is a wearable accessory that connects to your device and allows players to carry out certain actions in Pokémon Go, such as alerting players of nearby monsters and PokéStops via vibrations and a flashing LED. Nintendo issued the following statement on Facebook:
“The Pokémon GO Plus accessory will now be released in September 2016 instead of the originally expected end of July launch date. Thanks for your patience, trainers.”
There’s no reason given for the delay just yet. In any case, we have to wait just a little while longer to get our hands on such a fashionable device.
