Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE was a mashup between Fire Emblem and the Atlus series Shin Megami Tensei. Characters like Chrom joined in a quest to save Tokyo from interdimensional evil in a campaign that boasted dungeon exploration as well as fashion and music. It’s the right sort of weirdness but was, up till now, landlocked to Wii U, a system with a woefully small user base.
Thankfully, Nintendo has seen the light and will be bringing Tokyo Mirage Session #FE Encore to Switch on January 17. This new, definitive version of the game will boast some extra content that didn’t make it to the Wii U, including a new song as well as additional characters to play with and new story elements. It’s great to see Nintendo bringing over content from Wii U that fans might have missed the first time, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is definitely a must play.
