If you’re thinking that we’ve been saying the word “rumor” a lot since the recent Nintendo Direct broadcast, it’s because a number of things that had been labeled as such have gone from speculation to full blown reality. Adding to that list are the additions of Game Boy and Game Boy Color games to the Nintendo Switch Online tier of service and Game Boy Advance titles in addition to those who are part of the Expansion Pack tier. Take a look at all three in this trailer:
Here are the lineups for each platform:
Game Boy & Game Boy Color:
- Tetris
- Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
- The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX
- Gargoyle’s Quest
- Game & Watch Gallery 3
- Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
- Metroid II: Return of Samus
- Wario Land 3
- Kirby’s Dream Land
Game Boy Advance:
- Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
- WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$
- Kuru Kuru Kururin
- Mario Kart: Super Circuit
- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
It’s quite a delightful selection of games, with highlights including Minish Cap, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and WarioWare, Inc. These games are all available now to download from the eShop. However, if you want the GBA games you’ll have to be signed up for the Expansion Pack tier.
